RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

1. General information

AEMCY offers two selections: Designer Archives, with rare and collectible designer pieces from past collections, and Curated Vintage, with handpicked vintage and quality secondhand pieces. This policy applies to both, and to purchases made through an accepted offer.

We inspect each piece by hand and provide a detailed description, a condition grade and photos on every product page. If you have any questions before purchasing, we are happy to guide you personally by WhatsApp or email.

2. Your right to return

You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. To do so, email us at info@aemcyparis.com with your order number, or use our withdrawal form.

Once you have told us, you have 14 days to send the piece back.

3. Return conditions

Please return the piece in the same condition as you received it, with the AEMCY protection tag still attached. You are welcome to try it on as you would in a shop.

If a piece comes back worn, washed, altered, damaged or without its protection tag, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value, up to the full amount. In that case we will contact you first, and the piece can be sent back to you at your expense if you prefer.

4. Condition of our pieces

Our pieces are vintage, archive or secondhand. Their condition is described using the AEMCY Condition Guide, together with the condition note and photos on each product page. Signs of age and wear that match the grade and note are part of the piece.

5. Sale and discounted items

Discounted pieces can be returned under the same conditions as any other piece.

6. If a piece is not as described

If a piece is not authentic (backed by proves), or its condition is clearly worse than the grade, note and photos stated, contact us within a reasonable time of receiving it. We will cover the return shipping and refund you in full, including the original shipping cost.

7. Refunds

Once we receive your return, we inspect it and confirm by email. We refund the price of the piece and the standard shipping cost of your original order within 14 days of your withdrawal, although we may wait until the piece has arrived back or you have sent us proof of shipment.

Refunds are made to the original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.

Return shipping costs are your responsibility, except in the cases described in section 6.

Because every piece is unique, we cannot offer exchanges.

The piece remains your responsibility until it reaches us, so we strongly recommend tracked and insured shipping.

9. Orders outside the European Union

The same 14-day return period applies. Customs duties and import taxes paid on delivery are not refunded by AEMCY and may be reclaimed from your local customs authority.
