Christian Dior Boutique double-breasted coat from the Autumn/Winter 2006 season, designed during John Galliano's tenure as creative director of the house.
Galliano led Christian Dior from 1996 to 2011, and the mid-2000s ready-to-wear is among the most collected of that era. This coat shows why: military tailoring, heritage Dior codes and heavy craftsmanship in one piece.
Washed grey-black cotton denim body with contrast stitching, set against lambskin raglan sleeves. Woven leather panels run down both sides and along the sleeves. The coat is fully lined in natural rabbit fur.
