Fall 1995 Jean Paul Gaultier Femme runway jacket, 38 FR

An archival piece from Jean Paul Gaultier's Fall 1995 ready to wear show, a collection Vogue Runway has called one of the designer's finest. This exact look was walked by Gaultier's longtime muse Rossy de Palma, and the silhouette was later echoed on screen when Fran Drescher wore a matching piece as Fran Fine on The Nanny.

Fitted zip through jacket in black jersey with a purple satin lining, finished with a grey and navy faux fur collar, cuffs, and patch pocket trims. Silver hardware includes a decorative buckle detail at the chest.

Very good condition.
