A sculptural two-piece skirt suit from Only Thierry Mugler, the diffusion line of the French house, worked in a soft peach stretch cotton. The blazer is shaped through the waist with curved panel seams across the front and back, finished with a notched lapel, lightly structured shoulders and a single concealed zip closure with the engraved Mugler pull. The matching pencil skirt echoes the arched seaming over the hips and closes with a back zip, with a side slit for ease. Both pieces are lined in the vivid orange all-over Mugler logo jacquard.
The blazer is labelled IT 42 / EU 38 / GB 12 / USA 8. The skirt waist measures slightly larger than the blazer and corresponds closer to a 40. Dated to the late 1990s to early 2000s.
